There are 14 mountains in the world which are over 8,000m/26,247ft above sea level.
They are known as the ‘eight-thousanders’.
These mountains are all located in the Himalayan and Karakoram mountain ranges – across Nepal, Tibet (China) and Pakistan.

Anybody can be part of UK Islamic Mission and get involved in our activities. You can support our work in the areas including, but not limited to;
Livelihood skills development
However, each livelihood requires certain special skills, and people from a disadvantaged background are less able to access the resources, materials and training required to learn a skill and start a business. Many people already have these skills and aspire to start and establish a business, but lack the initial funding necessary to achieve this.
We provide interest-free loans (Islamic microfinance) to help entrepreneurs get started.

Appeal for children with Thalassemia
Eye cataract surgeries
Eye Cataract Surgery – providing life-changing eye cataract removal surgery to give the gift of sight to a visually impaired person
Treating Children with Thalassemia – saving the lives of innocent children suffering from thalassemia by providing blood transfusions, medication, therapy and rehabilitation
Sponsoring a Disabled Child – providing special education for disabled children, including everyday aids, healthcare, and tuition fees

UK Islamic Mission aims to promote continued excellence in Islamic leadership by educating and training Alim and Alima students. Scholars in Islam are important, leading figures in the Islamic World, help us educate.
